I had excellent communication with Laura Clark, but it seems some of my “wants” were not communicated well with the sewing team. The angel tree topper and ornaments are LOVELY, and just what I asked for. The Christening Bonnet is beautiful, but is very large….seems like it will fit on a 2 year old, not a 3-6 month old?? The 12 stockings were supposed to be only 4 inches tall and are closer to 6 1/2. Much too big for the tree, in my opinion. And I had communicated to Laura that I wanted them to be on the small side. From my very first phone call to inquire about the service to the delivery of not one, but TWO incredibly beautiful Bridal sets, I couldn’t be happier! I truly appreciated the personal attention I got from every person I interacted with at Unbox the Dress. When I first discussed what I wanted, my older daughter was engaged to be married in July of 2022, so I thought this would be a nice way to ensure my beautiful, but definitely 90’s, wedding gown could be enjoyed other than in a hermetically sealed box, as it has been for the last 30 years. When we had our phone consultation I asked if there might be enough fabric and embellishments to create two sets so I could give one to my younger daughter when/if she got engaged. The designer assured me they could make it work! Well, from the time I dropped my dress off in September to receiving the TWO sets, my younger daughter did in fact get engaged! When the order arrived, the two sets were packed so delicately and pretty! I simply laid them under the Christmas tree for my girls to discover on Christmas morning. It was just precious! Now my beautiful (but dated) dress has been transformed into something that can be worn for generations, I hope. Thank you Unbox the Dress!

I had a very good experience using Unbox the Dress. Initial communications was excellent. The angel ornaments are gorgeous. My only suggestion is for some communication via email during the process. I heard nothing for 4 months after the last communication that they received my dress. I called them when the order was supposed to be completed. That call would not have been necessary had they emailed me that they were running a bit behind and had a new shipment date. Thank you for the lovely angels. I can't wait to see what the family will all say when they get their angel for Christmas!
